ReadRewards ("we", "our", or "the app") is a family reading tracker that helps parents monitor their children's reading progress. We take your privacy seriously.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and name provided during registration.
• Reading Data: Books added, reading sessions logged, and completion records.
• Family Data: Family group membership to connect parents and children.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the reading tracking service
• To calculate reading rewards and streaks
• To connect family members within the app

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring families can only access their own data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only shared between members of the same family group within the app.

Children's Privacy

ReadRewards is designed for family use. Children's accounts are created and managed by their parents. We comply with COPPA regulations and do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent.

Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account from within ReadRewards by opening Settings, selecting Delete Account, and confirming the deletion. Your authentication account and associated profile data are removed. If your account is the final member of a family, the empty family record is also removed. Account deletion cannot be undone.
